At 0110 Squad 5 and Engine 51 were dispatched mutual aid to Anne Arundel County for a reported MVC with entrapment. Units arrived on scene to find a single vehicle that had gone off of the road and down an embankment. Squad 5, under the direction of Deputy Chief 5, assisted AA Squad 1 and Medic Engine 94 with packaging the patients in Stokes baskets for movement back up the embankment. While this was occurring, the crew from Engine 51 set up a landing zone for Trooper 2 at a local school. After all patients were loaded and transported, Squad 5 assisted the Anne Arundel units with clean up. Squad 5 cleared the call at 0220.
