DUNKIRK Units were alerted for the House Fire at 4130 Ferry Landing Road this evening. Engine 51(Capt.Groce), Engine 52(FF. Shaner), Rescue Squad 5(Capt. Mills), Tanker 5(F. Holzberger), Ambo. 5(Dize), and Chief 5A(Holzberger) responded with a total of 16 VOLUNTEERS. DUNKIRK Units arrived on location of a two story sfd with smoke showing from the second floor. The Engine Companies advanced attack lines into the house where they were confronted with moderate smoke and heat conditions, found two rooms off on the second floor and made quick work of all visible fire. The Squad crew split there crew, conducted searches, controlled utilities, and ventilated. Command held DUNKIRK, Engine 6, and Tower 1 for salvage and overhaul operations.
