This afternoon at 1441 hours, Dunkirk VFD Engine 52 & Tanker 5 were dispatched for the house fire at 469 Deale Road (Anne Arundel 42-03 Box). With an additional crew in quarters, Squad 5 was granted permission to respond. In addition, the Deputy Chief responded.

First arriving units found a 3-story house with smoke showing. A room & contents fire on the 2nd floor was found with extension to the 3rd floor. Engine 52 arrived, stretched a back-up line and assisted with extinguishing the fire. Squad 5 searched the residence, controlled the Utilities and opened up for the attack crews. Dunkirk VFD units operated for 90 minutes.
