On April 13 at 0854 hours, units from the Huntingtown VFD were dispatched to the overturned propane tanker truck at Huntingtown Road & White Marsh Court. Units arrived and found the same with the propane actively leaking. Additional resources were requested brining Engine 51, Tanker 5 & Safety Officer 5.

Several departments assisted with evacuating residents in a 1/2 mile radius and setting up temporary shelters at two schools and a church. Tanker 5 operated for 8 hours and shuttled several thousand gallons of water while the propane was off loaded and burned off by MDE.
