In a heartwarming display of unity and gratitude, the Dunkirk Volunteer Fire Department, in partnership with various county departments, recently had the privilege of welcoming 25 veterans on a Capitol Region Honor Flight. This special journey took our heroes from Washington DC to the picturesque Dunkirk Park, where the community gathered to pay tribute to their selfless service.
