🔥 This morning at 0342, the Dunkirk Volunteer Fire Department responded to a house fire at 3640 9th Street. Engine 51, Tanker 5, Chief 5A, and Chief 5B were dispatched. Safety 1 found a 2-story house with smoke and fire visible from division 2. Chief 5B took charge of division 2, and Engine 51 assisted with second due engine company duties. Thanks to their quick work, the incident was scaled back to companies 1, 5, and 6. Grateful for the dedication and professionalism exhibited daily (and nightly) by Calvert volunteers.
