Earlier today, Engine 51, Tanker 5, and Chief 5A responded for the reported house fire on Box 2-12 in the area of Clay Hammond Road and Basswood Drive

Chief 2C arrived to find a 2-story home with heavy fire showing throughout. Units took their assigned positions and immediately went to work. Engine 51 assisted with fire attack operations on the second floor before being reassigned to extinguish fire in the garage. Tanker 5 assisted with water supply operations, while Chief 5A supported interior operations.

Dunkirk units operated on scene for approximately 2.5 hours before returning to service. The firehouse remained staffed during the incident to ensure continued coverage for our community.

There were no reported injuries.
